These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Valtoranyzxul website and journal product. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

1. Who we are

Valtoranyzxul is a small studio based at 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2W3, Canada. References to "we", "our" and "us" in these terms mean this studio.

2. Accounts

Some features require a journal account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorised access. You are responsible for the activity that takes place under your account.

3. Acceptable use

When using the website or journal you agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the service.
• Reverse engineer or copy parts of the service except as allowed by law.
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in Canadian dollars. Monthly plans renew until you cancel from your account page. Yearly plans renew once a year unless cancelled at least one day before the renewal date. Taxes apply where required by Canadian law.

5. Printed Companion Notebook

The Companion Notebook is a one-time purchase, shipped within Canada through our shipping partner. Returns are governed by our Return Policy.

6. Content ownership

All journal entries you create remain your intellectual property. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Our intellectual property

The website design, written guides, illustrations and brand name belong to Valtoranyzxul and our partners. You may quote short excerpts of our guides with attribution and a link back to the source.

8. No professional advice

The journal and the guides are designed to support general daily reflection and routine planning. They are not a substitute for professional advice. If you have specific concerns about your well-being, please consult a qualified professional.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the website and journal available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may pause access for maintenance or in response to security events.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, Valtoranyzxul will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that harms other users.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply in British Columbia. Disputes will be heard by the courts of British Columbia.

13. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the home page and the "last updated" date will reflect the revision.
